hi all, bought today - a fine porcelain creamer type vessel.  Not marked underneath, but i think the shell impressions on the sides may be the potters mark, as well as serving a useful purpose for gripping the vessel as it's poured.

Reminds me of Yo Thom, but there was another lady potter (can't remember the name) who did similar to this I think.

Can we see the base please.

Rebecca Callis is who I was thinking, close but maybe not close enough from a quick Google.

It does ring a bell but at the moment not loud enough.

May Ling Beadsmoore of Darley Mill Pottery uses impressed shell marks for decortaion, but she's salt glazed stoneware rather than thin porcelain.

Came across a potter called Mike Goddard at Farnham's Art In Clay who had lovely porcelain teapots with impressed shell marks on the side. Might be one of his.

don't know if it's by him or not, but funny that you should see his work in Farnham as the creamer was bought at the antiques mill in Farnham.

I love wandering round the Antiques Mill. Happy

Mike is based in Kent, and will be at Fired Works, Blackthorpe Barn, in May 2014.
I was very tempted by his teapots - reasonably priced compared to the rest of the exhibitors.
