Re: Ravenhead - Lancashire
You could be right. I found similar stuff but not the same piece. There’s lots of Dartington stuff here in Totnes.

Re: Ravenhead - Lancashire
Boxed (in the loosest definition of boxed) set of 6 1970's Ravenhead amber tumblers, Venice shape (P967) from the Vista range. Each glass has just 'England' on the underside, which proved bloody difficult to photograph; the word just isn't very photogenic I suppose, or maybe camera shy, but no matter how clearly the glasses came out the 'England' was always blurred.
The box was in that rather distressed condition when I bought the glasses around 6-7 years ago for pennies at a boot sale, but I suppose owt's better than nowt. The plastic fitted inner, which has the shape number included in the moulding, is still in fairly good nick if a little grubby. I love the back of the box, a picture not unlike those tacky (or kitsch) pictures with lights behind that look as though the water is actually moving that were only ever seen on walls in Chinese restaurants, or in the 'Top Prize' selection in seaside bingo halls.
