Porcelain bowl - SW mark - Steve Woodhead

Porcelain bowl - SW mark - Steve Woodhead
The dimensions of this bowl 17cm diam x 5cm has a blue glaze giving the effect of a flower , in the bottom the glaze is roughened to give the appearance of the centre of a flower. Mark appears to be rJ or iJ - very difficult to tell. Maybe it will be obvious to someone more knowledgable

Apologies for reflections and poor image of base
Thanks in anticipation

Very pretty.
My first thought is one of the Irish potteries.

Mark looks a lot like Peter Sparrey to me, though I'm not sure the pot itself looks right, may be worth asking him.

This is an example of Peter's mark for comparison.

Re: Porcelain bowl - SW mark - Steve Woodhead
I had a problem trying to get a clear image of the mark.
Comparing Peter Sparreys mark with this one I'm sure it is not the same and I agree with with Naomi that his work is very different

You've really been having a trawl through the old posts!
If I'd got this dish now I would have identified it immediately. Have got a mug and my porridge bowl is by him!

I’ve met him a couple of times at Farnham Art in Clay. Lovely pots:)
