A lot of UK studio potteries in the latter half of the 20th Century were producing these sorts of pots and just sticking paper labels on them. Hopefully someone has something similar with it's original label still attached so it can be identified.

thats a really nice doctor's bag

Naomi's right but I suspect that it is from the 1970s when stoneware pottery was trendy. The decoration looks very familiar but I can't suggest a name.

Yes, I'm racking my brains. I've seen a pot recently that had that crosshatch pattern in the middle of the flower, but can't remember who it was by. I'm wondering if it was one of the Welsh potteries.

A very belated thank you all!
Didn't realise a little map of my life was in the background: the table, pram, bag and book... hmm how could they be linked? The bag's for sale by the way!

O M G !
Dr Tom had an affair with a young patient! She got pregnant, Dr Tom's wife found out and divorced him leaving poor Tom with nothing but a big old table that he got from his parents.
He now lives with the patient in a small house which the table won't fit in and Tom needs to sell all his stuff just to make end meet!!!
