Purbeck pottery started 1966 by Robert jefferson ,who had previously worked for Poole informed this range ,echoing the styles of Troika , vase to the far right designed by ex poole Eddie goodall

and two coffee mugs-(purbeck made in england.)---why they produced these thick mugs to drink a good coffee from.....porcelain is still the best for this beverage.

there is only one purbeck pottery, but the wares that they produce today are entirely different from the studio type stuff produced in the 60's and 70's , it's the same with Roth in germany, today they produce bathroom and toilet wares

Purbeck Empty Small bottle/vase with partial mark!

Does anyone recognise this design ? it is on a small bottle only 4in tall, very heavy for its size. It appears to have a patial makers mark on the base but unfortunately it has been rubbed.
