Hi
I know this is Orrefors - it has a label !!  But I'd like to know who designed it and about how old it is, if possible
Orrefors decanter - Edward Hald design Orrefo10
signed on base 'Orrefors -E.H 2584 - 11'                           Would that be 2011?

EH is designer Edward Hald, 2584 should be the design code and 11 could well be a date (according to Pina in the Scandinavian Glass books).

The design itself could be fairly old as Hald worked at Orrefors betwwen 1917 and 1978. If the base has few scratches then the chances are it was made recently.
