Can't ever recall having seen any of her work so this is just a possibility. Might it be by Anne Thalmessinger?

She started to make stoneware in 1968 at Yateley in Surrey after a spell making earthenware.

Cheers for that. There's one of hers on ebay with a stamped monogram. A little different - the T's through and over the A - but that's not to say she didn't change it.

In the Yates-Owen/Fournier book there is reference to 3 different marks and the mark like yours being painted or impressed. There is no mention of a date but it does seem possible and Yateley can't be too far from you.
