Vase - POG Crafts 410
I bought this vase today in the hope that it is Crich Pottery, I'm not 100% sure.  It is 10in tall.  Can anyone confirm, thanks.

All I know is the pottery was started by Paul McGrath and Graham Fielder, they work in stoneware (as the examples show here are) and porcelain.

Often their work has streak / spiral type decoration. Usually quite plain / minimalistic, but also quite distinct.

So it is -

So POTTY, where are the pic's of that box full ?

I guess it just doesn't like 3 letter searches, as pog has no results but it comes up amongst others in a 'pog craft' search.

Will do, but I did say 'box-full in the shed' rather than 'shed-full'. I'll dig them out later and take a few snaps. May be a day or two before I post them though, some dork smashed his car into the junction-box near our house and totalled it, so I'm on a tortoise-slow dongle 'till they install a new box!

Actually I was just being lazy, I couldn't be bothered to type Potty Primate and didn't think about the possible confusion.

Post by Yellow Rattle on February 10th 2016, 4:33 pm

Vase is about 3 inches high and 2.5 inches in diameter at the rim.  The outer surface has a slightly rough textured glaze and the interior surface is a glossy dark brown/greenish glaze.  The base of the pot is marked ?? oy.  I have been unable to identify the maker - any help would be much appreciated.

Edinbane Pottery marks are a lot different, I believe they are always Impressed too, where as POG is always incised, atleast as far as I am aware.
