Julian Bellmont, High Street Pottery, Kintbury
Colander and dish by Julian Bellmont, High Street Pottery, Kintbury.
Trained at Aldermaston Pottery then set up his own studio at Kintbury in 1993.
I believe he's now moved on to teaching at a college in Newbury.

Nice pieces Naomi
His functional pottery I think is very good, I'd quite like to have one of his mugs to use at some point
Are you sure the goblet is porcelain? Looks like very fine stoneware in the pictures.

Not sure, Potty. His other pieces are tin glaze over a white-ish ground, but the goblet is thinner. This is the view from the inside, where the glaze appears to have soaked through. Would that happen with porcelain?

Re: Julian Bellmont, High Street Pottery, Kintbury
Regarding the glaze effects, I've no idea Naomi
I don't know a lot about the difference in glaze effects between stoneware and porcelain. Especially as Julian Bellmont's work appears to be made from what I'd personally consider a porcelaneous stoneware (Due to the colour and fineness).
My comment was going by the tone of clay on the foot rim, as to me that looks more like fine stoneware.
Some clay body's are obvious to tell apart, but there are quite a few potters who work in mediums that seem to fall in-between the main 3 categories.
I love the jugs by the way

Re: Julian Bellmont, High Street Pottery, Kintbury
Cheers.
Unfortunately the little jug has a big chip and crack through the rim on the otherside, but it's ok from this angle.

lustre bowl - Julian Bellmont
small lustrous pot, looks like the glaze has been applied over a scratched surface. Marked underneath, but i don't know the mark.

I think its Julian Bellmont. The mark is HSP for High Street Pottery

Julian has quite a distinctive style of rim and handle on his jug.
