Unusual armchair

I bought the chair pictured below from a garage sale a couple of months ago. I have since been asked if I would consider hiring it out. For insurance purposes I have no idea of it's worth or if possible to replace. There are no labels or anything identifying that can help me find out any more. I have exhausted searches which is difficult when you're not sure what to look for and I am a bit of a novice.
