heavy glass vase for ID - Scandi?

can anyone identify this heavy vase, engraved with a Deco style deer. There is an engraved signature on the bottom, but no matter how hard i've tried, i just can't seem to photograph it. There are the remnants of a paper label on one side with the only letters i can make out being FU on the top line and ST on the bottom line.

Try photographing the signature with the camera about 20-30cm away from the glass, and getting close using the zoom (with macro enabled, if you've got it - it will probably be marked with a flower symbol).
If it's just a case of not being able to get the signature to show up, try rubbing some talc/flour into it.
