Can you help ID these chickens?

Hi there,
I'm hoping that someone out there can help identify the textile designer of this 50's / 60's fabric?
The style looks familiar, but my research so far has been fruitless....It is cotton dressmaking weight, made up into a classic full skirt dress.
Thrift store find from the U.S. Thanks!

I would guess Scandinavian, Emma, from the basic feeling of the design. But I am afraid I do not know my fabric designers at all.

Thanks Carolyn,
I'll try and rephrase my google searches! Fabric with no selvedge is abit like a piece of glass with no sticker.. :-)... so hard to pin point!

It looks to be very good quality homemade. Nice addition of little beads to the front of the skirt. :-)
