I got this info from the artists Etsy.com page: Glenn P. Spangler is a semiretired studio potter living and working in Richmond California since 1972. The first 35 years were mostly wheel work: bowls, vases, and other functional pieces. He has shown and sold his work around the San Francisco bay area since 1968. His signature glaze is: black and orange over-glaze stains brushed in stripes over an uneven application of semi-matt opaque white glaze. The cone 10 reduction fire melts them together to run blue in places. [img]
