Here's a link to a great video from 1954 showing the processes of designing, making, firing and glazing one of Stig L's famous and beautiful fajans pots.
As well as Lindberg it shows Berndt Friberg throwing the pot, following Lindberg's design, followed by decorating by Beth MacDonald.

great film - well done on finding that one. I particularly like that I have that vase design and always wondered about the manufacture. The best bit is catching a glimpse of all those other wonderful pieces in the kiln - an Alladin's cave of treasures and some pattern and shape combinations I had never seen.

Glad you found it interesting.
As far as I know most of the fajans pieces were cast in moulds, just the prototypes would have been thrown by hand I suspect. I am almost certain the leaf-shaped dishes were cast as this is not a throwable shape! In any case, by 1954, when this film was made, Friberg was a BIG NAME at Gustavsberg and would have concentrated on his own pieces rather than making pots for Stig Lindberg.
