Little cone-shaped salt shaker
Stamped PORTHMADOG WALES on the base.

Not found out much about the pottery other than they changed their mark later on, and some of those pieces are signed J. Jones.
This seems to be a 60s piece.

Seems there was a J. Jones and a M.L. Jones decorating the pieces.

Although unmarked I'm pretty sure this is Porthmadog

There's a bit about the Porthmadog pottery on another forum.
http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=385183.9

According to which it was in the basement of the Snowdon Mill, which was run as the "Crafts Centre Cymru" by a man called David Lewis from the mid-1960s. There's also a mention on the website of Gwynneth Rixon who worked there in the late 1990s.
http://www.gwynnethrixonceramics.co.uk/history

The mill has since been redeveloped for residential use.

I think they were made in the 80s-90s. The company employed decorators so unlikely to find the person

By Porthmadog, rather than Portmadoc. I’ll split the post and add it to our Porthmadog thread

That's odd; there are a lot of pieces on the internet with the same stamp as mine with the name spelt without the 'h' and definitely ending 'doc' rather than 'dog'..
ETA, even the pieces on the Porthmadog'' thread here with that same backstamp are 'h-less'. It looks as though there are maybe three potteries represented, two sharing the name 'Portmadoc' and the third being 'Porthmadog'.
It makes sense to move mine over there, though, as it's clearly from the same pottery as other pieces there.

And genius here has just noticed that the stamp shows both the Welsh and Anglicised versions of the name. Observant bugger, ain't I!  Nuh-huh
