"Modern Art" is produced by incompetents, sold by charlatans and bought by ignoramuses?

It is enlightening to juxtapose "Fine Art" to "Modern Art"

Crocus Planter I think.  Very dark green glaze, almost black with a yellow/orange interior.  Brixham Pottery on the base, but the mark is different. Is this a later mark?
