Not being catholic, and therefore having never been served the Holy Ghost in any form, what makes you think it was made for serving same?

Hi Carolyn, the guy i bought it from suggested it was religious as he bought it along with other religious items from a church sale, !, so the only thing that i could come up with due to the shape and that little bit of history was maybe a Host spoon !!!. Maybe i have invented something ... !!!.
I found the mark on it on a brooch in the V & A Museum if that's of any interest to anyone !. . . Shrugs .. Alan

Have since found out that the piece i have by Jacob Tostrup turned out to possibly be a TOMATO SERVER !. .. Doh!

So you just can't get me outta ya head eh Skay !, i usually have that effect on people ... lol! .

Even though i found out that the piece of Tostrup i have is either a Tomato Server or a Pastry Spade, i also have one of those spoons in the link.
