Hi Big Ed, i have had a piece by Tostrup before, it was a silver and enamel salt in the shape of a Viking Longship, i bought this piece at an antique fair in Wales yesterday for £10, but not sure as to what it is !, or if it's not just a piece made to deceive !... Shrugs

Cake sounds good to me Ed, Guy i bought it from in Wales thought it was silver-plate and religious !!!. That's why i thought it was used to pass Hosts in a church maybe ... I found a piece of Tostrup with the same marks in the Victoria & Albert Museum, it's 828 norwegian silver for 1877.
