Looks to me like he may have been made as a "dump"?
But remember I know nothing of glass

Re: Please I.D my owl ! ...
The hollow base indicates that it was blown rather than being a 'dump'.

Re: Please I.D my owl ! ...
By "dump" I mean made from the glass left over at the end of a production day.
I knew a chap who used to blow glass and he made bits a little like this at the end of the day with the left over glass. He did blow his "dumps", the ones I saw anyway.
I have a feeling this is British, but I'm not saying Davee is at all wrong, just my opinion.

Quality doesn't look to be there for Murano. But, on the plus side, the design looks to have a bit too much nouse about it to be Chinese (although the unpolished base does make me wonder).

Re: Please I.D my owl ! ...
I agree Nic the base looks poorly finished, could be a TK Max special.
Not doubting what your friend said about 'dump' glass Potty but this is how it is usually refered to:

Re: Please I.D my owl ! ...
I have handled a fair few "true dumps" (
), I just used the term because they came about in the same manner (i.e. end of production left over glass). That’s why I said "made as a "dump"".
My fault for not explaining myself better.
My mum has a owl quite like it, from what I am told this friend of the family made it quite some time ago, in the manner I mentioned. From memory the base is finished the same.

You're right Potty, it's similar to the dumps i've had in the past. Although they were solid through and through.
But i don't think it came from T.K.Max ...
