orrefors - real? maker?

Hi, I can not determine the id on this signed orrefors piece as the signature does not fit my knowledge space - any help would be appreciated
it seems like it could be orrefors gate 3165 B8 FR or (FB or LR or LB)

thanks, part of my confusion is that Gate died in 1945. The "3165" would lead me to believe this was designed in 1949. There was an LB engraver then, Liss Bergkvist,

So was the 1949 a production date, not a design date, or am I reading it all wrong?
