Nancy Wright
Just thought you guys might like to see this very cool studio pottery piece. Signed by American artist Nancy Wright and dated "70". It is slab built, 11 inches tall and a very flat 2 3/4 inches front to back at the base.

Yes indeed, I'd very much like to see it..... on my sideboard
It's simply gorgeous. Are you absolutely sure it's not 17thC carved maple?
Could it almost pass as old, patinated wood 'in the flesh' as it does in the pics?

Re: Nancy Wright
Yes, it does have a "wood-like" quality. And if you really want to see it on your sideboard, it's listed on ebay (US) with no bids yet.
