Glass Works Vase - any ideas?

Clear glass vase 4.5" high with blue and white stripes - etched to base simply 'Glass Works'

Who is or was 'Glass Works' - I posted on another forum years ago and got the reply 'I think this is Scottish. There was a Glass Works run by Jenny Antonio in Edinburgh around the mid 80's and later by Paul Musgrove who took it over' - I have never been able to confirm this so I ask if anyone can for me, or has other suggestions.
