Pots you regret selling.

Post by Potty Primate on Thu Jun 30, 2011 2:32 pm

I've just been looking back at pictures of pieces that I have sold on over the last couple of years and more than once found myself thinking 'Why did I sell that one"?

W.G. 499-18. Beautiful textured finish, I likened it to the surface of the moon. For reasons unknown I never got around to i.d'ing the maker either.

And this one, German again, probably Bay 365/15. Very tactile glaze and gorgeous colours.

Over to you.......any regrets?

Now I am older and know nothing Shrugs

Ok my apologies, the initials are often the other way round as are his real name initials. But you can find many pieces marked LB and as I am sure you have got it now... Bernard Leach
My only signed piece of his to date but it is my ambition to find another

Happy No need to apologise Terry.

That's what I was guessing Jumping For Joy even though I don't even like most pottery.
