Pots you regret selling.
I've just been looking back at pictures of pieces that I have sold on over the last couple of years and more than once found myself thinking 'Why did I sell that one"?
W.G. 499-18. Beautiful textured finish, I likened it to the surface of the moon. For reasons unknown I never got around to i.d'ing the maker either.

And this one, German again, probably Bay 365/15. Very tactile glaze and gorgeous colours.

Over to you.......any regrets?

No I do have one regret. When I worked as a porter in an auction house I purchased some St Ives pottery but there was only one piece I regret selling
let me just say LB on the corner of a tile, picture of a frog on the tile I was so young and knew nothing. Now I am older and know nothing
I did not even take a picture of it.

Don't forget I don't even like most pottery
If the initials were the other way around perhaps?

Ok my apologies, the initials are often the other way round as are his real name initials. But you can find many pieces marked LB and as I am sure you have got it now... Bernard Leach
My only signed piece of his to date but it is my ambition to find another
