German tiger stripe vases, by whom?
I'm sure someone will instantly recognise this striking hand painted black and golden yellow 'tiger stripe' design.
I've had this pair of 10cm vases for a few years, and bought them for the lovely pattern, rather that the slightly unexciting body shape, plus they're a pair in mint condition! ^_^
I've never been able to identify who the maker is (there's a cat with the same pattern/colourway in one of my Miller's guides, but no other info than 'German' DX).
The base says 'MADE IN WESTERN GERMANY', and '3589'.

Any info greatly appreciated! :D
