Alexandra Copeland at Dartington Pottery
I created work at Dartington Pottery from 1997 to 2003. Seven stints, each of two months duration. I worked long hours, seven days a week – thus producing a lot of work. Half of my exhibition works were brought to Australia, with half remaining to be sold in the UK. As most of my pots posted to online sites seem to be the seconds that were sold through the seconds shop, I’d like to post some photos of my exhibition pieces. All of my work is signed and dated.

Thank you for your generous remarks. I used wax resist technique for the Nasturtium design. All of my pieces are one-offs. I miss those Dartington days.
Re: Alexandra Copeland at Dartington Pottery
do you have more images of your work? I would love to see them

Re: Alexandra Copeland at Dartington Pottery
I have some Dartington work on my not-very-up-to-date website, but I can't post links as yet.
I'll find some more images to post tomorrow.
I'm glad that you like my work. I know that many exhibition pieces were sold in the UK by Dartington Pottery between 1997 and 2003 - I don't think that they come up for sale very often nowadays. I only have photographs of the pieces that I brought to Australia.

Not my work - but Steve Course was a master with glazes, and with firing the kiln.
All my work is signed and dated.

Re: Alexandra Copeland at Dartington Pottery
The whales could be Avis Gardner - she lives in Melbourne now. Or Claire Woodhall.

It is a chicken hatching from an egg. I can't explain my inspirations!
