Good call Pip, I forgot about them, I had one of those cactus type things they did and it is similar to that.

Correct Pip
Looking into it a bit further Mäntsälän Lasisepät was a small glassworks that ran from 1978 to 2003.

Believe it is Dansk actually. Have a piece someplace and recall it as a Dansk purchase. Best wishes in the hunt.

Re: Vase - Dartington? Scandinavian?
Just googled it and found a Dansk vase called 'Floriform', they wre made in Italy for Dansk and have Italy moulded on the base, mine doesn't, maybe the moulds were sold on.
I remember reading that the Lasisepat cactus vases were also produced in Italy at a later date.

Re: Vase - Dartington? Scandinavian?
Hi again. Bit late on this info. Found 2 pieces from this Dansk glassware in my collection. One is the bowl piece you found Davee and another is a small dish of approx. the same diameter but flatter. The small dish has italy worked into the bottom texture at the very edge. The bowl doesn't appear to have Italy written on it that I can find. I would imagine it had a paper label but I cannot be sure.
Best wishes in the hunt.
