well if you take Horst Kerstan as a high selling german studio (regularly on online auctions) I think he is still cheaper than a lot of similar level english potters

I suppose so , but how or who do you evaluate Kerstan with as an english equivelent ? maybe there are more english bidders on line I dunno

someone like batterham? maybe and yes there is a more boyant english market for ceramics generally including WGP the French bid high for many of their own potters I think there are still bargains to be made on german ebay but perhaps I shouldnt be saying it

it's nice isn't it? I couldn't believe no one bid on it - it's just over 7" tall by about 3 1/2" wide so a really lovely display piece as well.Well done!

he actually potted just a 5 minute walk from where we are , he died about 5 yrs ago and his stuff pops up in the local charity shop now and again .
