Large Bottle Vase

Another poser. A very heavy "vitreous" bottle vase, lightly mottled cream/grey glaze (inside too) with a lovely smooth texture. Has a Japanese look about the blue insect-like decorations, two in all. 28cm tall, 11cm diameter at base. The impressed mark looks like a goblet (or chalice) with 2 horizontal lines across the stem, all within a rectangle.

I had a good think about what you were getting at and it finally came to me it was reference to a road sign - in a parallel universe!
No luck identifying the bottle vase? V
