Re: Ruscha bull, ox ?
Definitely looks like Ruscha production - could we see the underside/base please (even if there are no markings) - we always need to see the bases in ID requests. Also, could you please post your photos as clickable thumbnails as per our tutorial because I'm afraid I can't see two thirds of your photo which has been cut off to the right hand side (other members will have the same problem I'm having). Clickable thumbnails will get around that.
Cheers.
Cheers.

hi there,
sorry about the large photo, i will post smaller thumbnails in the future.
here is the base of the ox (bull?), i can remember that i have seen this ox in a book before, maybe it was in "Keramik der 50er Jahre".

definitley it is a w.german ceramic product, but who can be the maker?

could also be an Wisent (european buffel)
and I don't think it is Ruscha either. my guess would be Silberdistel
Re: Ruscha bull, ox ?
hello!
thanks for the advice you gave me.
unfortunately I can not find any info on the web.
the Ruscha ox/wisent/bison look different and silberdistel or bückeburg gives no info at all.

No need to be snarky Big Ed. Some of us would prefer to ask questions and perhaps look stupid, rather than randomly open our mouths and remove all doubt. I'm paraphrasing somebody, but there does seem to be some confusion as to whom.

And who might you be quoting? I am actually watching a BBC series with Mr Wilde. It is actually about Lillie Langtry.

Wisent or Bison for certain, not an oxen, but could be a bull Wisent or Bison. This could get confusing.
