Hi there, forgive me if this post is incomplete, or somehow incorrect..first time.
I was wondering if the vase could be identified in any way. It is a rich blue colour (the photo of the base gives a fairly accurate tone) and is 100cm tall and about 22-23cm across at it's widest.
I have photographed the base as I'm sure somewhere on this forum it was a way of pinpointing origin.
The quality of the glass is very high and the finish around the lip is smooth and even.
Thank you in advance, vintageroggie

Re: Tall blue vase...Swedish?
I can't see your photos properly - they're so big they're cut off on the right hand side. Could I ask you to repost your images here in this thread but doing them as small clickable thumbnails as per our tutorial?
If the base dips in significantly then your vase looks to be one of the larger bottle vases by Arthur Percy for Gullaskruf (Sweden) - however I'd like to be able to see the base shot to be certain.

Thanks, Pip, for the reply...I've thumbnailed them and also put a different shot of the base which I think is better. It does seem to dip quite significantly and had an inkling it might have been the real thing. Thought I had put it in the right section, so sorry about that.
Also, skay, my avatar is Colin Watson, a detective fiction writer. I like it because he looks so old school (like me, really) and I think he makes me seem more intelligent!

Re: Tall blue vase...Swedish?
Thanks for resizing the photos - that's much better - I can see the whole piece now which is important because seeing the overall proportions helps. Aside from having the customary dip in the base - the length of neck and slight flare to the rim, as well as the colour prove this to be one of Arthur Percy's and not a modern copy.

That's great, Pip. Thanks for taking the time to have another look.
I have to say it's a very elegant piece of glass and I really like it.

You're welcome :) Yes, I like these too - I've had a few of these in various different sizes and colours including a massive blue one like yours. I don't know exactly how many colours they came in but so far I've had blue, red, yellow/straw and pale green.
