Reminds me of 1930s French pottery, such as Denbac, but might be 1930s American.

Can I ask this? I've had this vase for awhile and may be ready for others to enjoy it. Would you ebay it or offer it through Christie's or Skinners if they would take it? Sold a Rookwood Shirayamadani at Humler & Nolan and it brought the low of what they thought. Been wondering if ebay would have done as well. Sorry if this is not a legal question. Wasn't sure.

Depends on whether you regularly sell through ebay or not. There are a lot of pitfalls for inexperienced ebay sellers and it might be safer just to let an auction house take the responsibility for selling it.
Ebay buyers want a bargain so it's likely to sell at a price below auction estimate, but then you don't have to pay the auction houses higher fees.

I went to a small selling exhibition of Margrete ("Grete") Heymann-Loebenstein-Marks's studio pottery yesterday. She had run the Heymann & Loebenstein factory herself after her husband died until it was taken from her by the Nazis.

She then came to England with the help of the Heal's family, who had sold the factory wares at their store here in London in the early 1930s.

In England, where she remained until her death in 1990, she (as Margrete Marks) gained a significant reputation for her paintings, showing in some of the major London galleries, as well as making the pottery that was in the exhibition.

Although none of the factory wares like your vase were on show, the person staging the exhibition did say they he had been contacted by a number of collectors of those pieces asking if any were available and one had flown over from Germany especially to visit.

So there does seem to be an interest in the Berlin factory production items.

Not really Volker although I did buy a small footed bowl that wasn't altogether typical. I will add an image here when I have time.
