Yes, that is earlier, 1955-57.
There were lots of similar patterns at the time.

Since they are the decoration, presumably it was for the export market - far easier to ask for the 'Brazil' set than the 'Gestreiften' set.

There also was the same decor but with a rose, called "Paris". It's from 1962, too.

Hi Allan,

Form 2820 before 1925, with decor Gobelin 4 ca.1928.

The form number reads 2820, came in 4 sizes, documented 1925
Decor series Gobelin 4 (short "G 4", not "6 4") , design Martha Serkin, ca.1928,
pre Eva Zeisel who arrived at Schramberg fall 1928.
