Nice or nasty? white retro vase with coloured cloud effect
Calling all glass experts........
I picked up this vase recently, thought it looked interesting.
There are no makers marks to help. It's 27cm tall and about 8cm diameter at it's widest point.
I would love to know if it has got any age and an idea of the maker or country of origin would be great.

Chinese, c.70s-80s.
Retailed under the tradename 'Snowflake Glass', but probably produced by Dalian Light Industries.

As Nic says, contemporary production from the Far East. There's a lot of this about.

Well, there's a *bit* of age to it.
My nan had a lot of this stuff and she popped her clogs in the mid-1980s.

Oh, this is proper display cabinet stuff, where I'm from.
Nah, I think it was mostly what she was given as presents from my older siblings when they were kids. My parents have a veritable zoo of lampworked glass animals from the same period and for the same reason.
