Peter Clough, Nantwich Pottery

Post by Davee on September 15th 2010, 4:55 pm

Nicely made studio vase with ribbed decoration and tenmoku glaze, impressed potters mark appears to be NP with a dot below the P. The leg of the N seems to finish shorter than the P. Any ideas please?

It's just a case of speed and key words, but mainly speed.
I used to be a researcher for a recruitment firm and have to dig up several hundred names for each client, be they German, Italian, US, Japan, etc. The company was run by a pair of incompetent directors so I was initially given a fortnight, then a week, then three days. for each contract, before they went bust. It concentrates the mind.

...you also have to remember each person you've found so you don't waste time on duplicate names/details. I guess that's the trick here. tbh, I find pots far easier to remember than names.
