Bronze Art nouveau lamp stand
This bronze lamp could well be just another one of those bought with a modern 'Tiffany' shade. I have a good feeling about it though, bought from auction but came from a very good home(which contained several unnoticed minor treasues). It has a German jugendstil appearance. No visible marks apart from the one on the brass light fitting, but I doubt that helps.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Many thanks, David

Re: Bronze Art nouveau lamp stand
I would say that it's probably quite a modern copy - within the last 30-ish years - because the finish of the base looks quite rough and ready for a lamp with a nice bit of style.

Thanks Nic,
Could well be right, I had expected it to be new and had lots of douts. It was the colour and the fairly subtle jugendstil style made me feel it was older (than the usual brash new ones).
