Italian Vase

Post by Thesigeng on Mon Aug 09, 2010 9:21 pm

I have the vase shown and know from the base it is Italian.
Approx 6 inches tall and with a lovely orange peel feel to the glaze. It has a smooth blue internal glaze.
Any ideas of the pottery and the numbers please. I have seen a plain white one similar to this somewhere here but can't place it.

Thanks

Italian pottery is hardly to identify.

I've had a few vases similar to this but, as Frillo has already said, pinning them down to a particular factory is nigh on impossible. It looks like mid/late 50s production if that helps?
