Is this a Scheurich 1950's vase?

I'm a bit of a West German novice so any thoughts on this vase would be much appreciated.
I've trawled the web and haven't been able to find anything quite like it, is this because it's an unusual model number (240) or because it's so common no one bothers with it!

It looks like 1950's Bay Keramik to me.
