Signed Art Glass

Stunning piece of art glass , I was told it was bought in france , it's thick and heavy and about 7.5", it has a metalic glaze and an unusual pontil mark of dots and signe ALL G

It looks a lovely piece of art glass but the sig looks crappy. Is that usual because of the difficulty in writing on the base, or is it not good?

Sig's always look like that , I have liskeard glass that liam carey signed for me and he just scratched it on with ...oh i forget the name of the metal thingy point .

I was wondering about the signature too Sue - it does look a bit naive... haven't a clue what it says though. It looks dremmelled as well..

I'm not rubbishing Ed's vase because I don't recognise it but it looks an impressive piece however it's entirely possible someone's decided to add a DIY 'signature'. There was a bloke doing it and re-selling on eBay a few years back - he got outed by the GMB. His signatures were done using a dremmel and they were rubbish.

it's written " All G" , but surely all signatures are different in style anyway , some very neat some not , the pontil mark is more interesting with the raised dots , at liskeard, Liam Carey does a personal 5 dot mark , this has 8
