Re: Signed Art Glass
It looks a lovely piece of art glass but the sig looks crappy. Is that usual because of the difficulty in writing on the base, or is it not good?

Re: Signed Art Glass
I was wondering about the signature too Sue - it does look a bit naive... haven't a clue what it says though. It looks dremmelled as well..

I disagree, I have some beautifully signed pieces.

I'm not rubbishing Ed's vase because I don't recognise it but it looks an impressive piece however it's entirely possible someone's decided to add a DIY 'signature'. There was a bloke doing it and re-selling on eBay a few years back - he got outed by the GMB. His signatures were done using a dremmel and they were rubbish.

Re: Signed Art Glass
it's written " All G" , but surely all signatures are different in style anyway , some very neat some not , the pontil mark is more interesting with the raised dots , at liskeard, Liam Carey does a personal 5 dot mark , this has 8
