Mystery Scandinavian glass vase?
Hi, anyone out there enlighten me as to the designer/manufacturer of this vase. It is in a pale sapphire blue with an extremely intricate lace like interior, superb quality and workmanship. Piece stands at approx 295mm tall and is unmarked on the base. I'm guessing Scandinavian but not sure anything other than that. I've owned the piece for about 6 years and bought it off a friend who I saw buy it from next to me at a carboot sale for £2!!! He eventually agreed to sell it to me a couple of years later when he was skint for £60. I liked it so much I just had to have it! Any info greatly appreciated? Sorry about the lack of Thumbnail images but my browser (Safari) doesn't seem to let me copy and paste them? (any help with this would be appreciated also!)

Sorry, not a clue.
I spotted a different vase with the exact same decoration on eBay recently, and spent hours leafing through books trying to pin down a maker - to no avail.

It looks like Harrtil, designed by Milan Metelák at the Harrach'ov factory in Czechoslovakia and is acheived using asbestos netting.

Re: Mystery Scandinavian glass vase?
Yep! Reckon your spot-on! Mind you the other examples I've tracked down online are not as large and impressive as this? Many thanks!
