the production quality of these KMK pieces make many of the other German factories seem a little amateurish imo

It is very interesting.
I translated the page and KMK becomes Ceramics Copper Mill and I have just been reading the history of the KMK. It does not translate very well with Google but it is interesting to have so much information from one little pot.
My thanks to dantheman and thank you also to PeterC If I learn nothing else, it will not be a wasted day today.
