Wilhelm Wagenfeld for Lindner (Germany)
'WV 351' / 'Model 965' Wall Lamp, designed in 1956. Solid opal glass, screw-thread mounted onto a grey-glazed porcelain base.
The lamp was catalogued as a multi-functional object, to be used as either a standard internal/external wall lamp, or as a house-number light, meaning that a housenumber could be painted or transfer-printed onto it and then the lamp mounted outside.

'WV 337' / 'Model 6000' ceiling lamp, designed 1955. MOMA, The Museum of Modern Art, in New York has three of these lamps in their collection that they bought from me a few years back. *searches for a name-dropping smiley*
