Knabstrup (Danish) stoneware dinner set
Good morning from Brisbane. I have been looking at my ceramic/pottery and realise I have a Kanbstrup dinner set. Purchased in Australia in 1964/5.
Mid-brown, mottled with darker brown 'spatters'. There are 6 medium and 6 larger dinner, and 6 side plates. 6 bowls and 6 cups and saucers.
Excellent condition except that one of the medium dinner plates has a circular crack on the base (placed on top of a hot plate???). The plate can still be used but is not sound.
My query is whether or not this is a very common dinner set in Australia (or elsewhere)
. Or do I have something a bit special
?

Pictures would help JJ. Tops, bottoms and sides, please. That will help the experts speak about your ceramics and us amateurs learn.
