Old Colony (Japan)

Your vase is Japanese, produced or distributed by a company called Old Colony.

s***t I've seen these attributed to Riihimaki a number of times, oh well you live and learn, thanks Nic............for spoiling my evening!!

Is there any value associated to these pieces? and do you know when they were produced? Oh.. please feel free to delete or move these posts to clean up the thread.

I think they're 1970s/80s. Worst news is they pop up in charity shops everywhere - and tend to stay on the shelves.

But I'm sure you'd feel better if you saw the amount of junk I've bought over the years!

I'll shift these posts in a bit - got to find a home for them first, as we've no Japanese or International glass section.

It's an easy error to make, there is a very similar Nanny Still design which is why these often get confused.
