How do you display your collection?

I bought this Picasso style cushion cover last summer and also a roll of 1970's linen and fibreglass wallpaper, recently I found a quality metal frame at a carboot sale so today they all came together

Hi Dan, the top shelf is mainly Tahiti ware by John Butler for A.J.Wilkinson, as is the contents of the cabinet, notice 3 variations of 'Flight' which was also available as a car ornament in the 1920's.

now I'm confused! the top shelf looks like mainly Oriflamme,would you be willing to take pics of the pots individually please so we can see which is which.

I haven't seenTahiti before but to be honest I still like Oriflamme best but then I don't like gold

??? The 2 gold ones are lustre over oriflamme they came direct from another collector in Australia.

There are 2 photos there, the top picture with the pine shelf shown is mainly Tahiti ware, all by John Butler 1928/29, AJ Wilkinsons first stab at art deco patterns and considered by many to be amongst the best and most underated designs from the period, especially when you consider that most of Clarices work seems to have been copied or adapted from french design of the period.
You will see what I mean if you look at some of the french music sheets of the mid 1920's......

Nik you sure have a epic Bunnykins collection

Hi Potty, the Bunnykins collection isn't that good, they are only 2 years old - Royal Doulton realeased a limited edition (500 of each of the original 6) set 2 years ago to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Bunnykins figures, and to coincide with that the Huntsman, a new figure, was figure of the year for 2009. Unlike the new Bunnykins which are made in China now these were made in the UK using the original moulds. I got them at mates reates from a Royal Doulton dealer I know who offered me a discount I couldn't refuse as they were the last set she had in stock and as far as she was concerned they were dead stock.

Assumed there were the originals by Noke.

Had no idea about them being re made by Doulton. Is quite a while since I knew much about collectables, so not up to date at all.

I remember finding a Original Billy Figure among some general sale items at a auction house I was working at, the seller/other staff we quite supprised what I said it should be worth / what it went for ;)

I display all my miniatures together....even though they were made in different countries!

Not really my collection but they look nice taking up a corner of my living room while i'm waiting to sell them.
