i'll do my best, some i don't know. Includes...

left cabinet:
top shelf: unknown yellow vase, maybe govancroft but can't read the mark, German deco circular candlestick, Maria Beckett seagull pot, Rockingham ware flask, Marazion vase.
2nd shelf: two Robert Goldsmith Selborne Pottery jugs, german stoneware vase and Westerwald tall handled jug/vase.
3rd shelf: Furstenberg plate, raku vase, small studio pot marked RS and handled pouring jug by Warwick Parker
bottom shelf: unknown (presumed Portsmouth area) studio pottery.

right cabinet:
top shelf: Chelsea pottery plate, two chinese pots (presumed 20thC copies of earlier wares).
2nd shelf: unknown pottery 4-sided vase based on a Chinese form, marked but unknown studio teapot, two oriental pots
3rd shelf: 3 candle holders by unknown, Alan Ward vase, old redware dish, unknown lidded pot with iridescent manganese interior.
4th shelf: lidded pot with MC mark - possibly Mick Casson, spotty bowl by David Crimes, spotted German vase circa 1900.

some named things, but i now find i'm buying stuff simply because i like the form or glaze rather than just buying because of its maker.

cheers Most Excellent one room down, several more to go. We've been living here for almost 10 years, but still seem to be living like students in much of the house.

for those who don't have room for cabinets.
these Cobridge pots are kept safe and well lit by displaying them inside the double glazing

but for everyone else, I fitted secondary double glazing to triple glaze and soundproof a bedroom so the pots simply sit on the window sill and a sliding glazing unit seals them in.

Reminds me of that Tommy Cooper joke... Man walks into a pet shop and says do you sell wasps? No says the shop assistant. Oh says the man but you have two in the windows?

It looks like quite a good Idea Dan ,..........err I think , does tend to cut off the bottom half of the pots though , still looks ok , but bear in mind you are the only person in the universe with that glazing Laughter

...so I've got some tiles in a box, nifty little collection going on, would like the Maltby tile on ebay but I don't rate him at £140.

Anyways any tips on displaying tiles?

Wall space available but not horizontal unless it's the floor.

Was thinking of buying a sheet of bevel edge toughened 8mm (10mm?) glass the size of my coffee table, sticking on an 15mm x 25mm edge trim,  black felt underlay? Then sit the glass on top?

Is this tacky?

This sorta thing?

Those standard little sprung plate-hangers work ok with tiles.
