Hi, Does anyone know if Nanny Still signed all of her pieces. I have found what I believe to be a Koristepullo vase but it has no signature. It is in a royal/cobalt blue which I have seen her use in other pieces. Lastly, is her work highly collectible and/or rare? There is some here in the US, and some collectors view her work as so so but there are also few who know much about her.

Thanks

Hi, no - it's perfectly alright for Riihimaki not to be signed, I'd say it's more unusual to find a signed piece in fact. Nanny Still's work is becoming more and more sought after and collected here in the UK, particular shapes and examples more than others of course, and has always remained popular in Finland.
