The mark is a plain impressed ROBIN WELCH in small capitals in a straight line. Not as on the jolleyed work. The Fournier nook has a similar mark used for one-offs 1985-95,

Yay, found another piece. Thankfully in the charity shop next door to ours, so didn't have to 'fess up to the manager what they'd priced up at only £2.99.

Nice big lidded storage pot.
9.5" high, incl lid.
8.5" across the rim

A 7 in cylinder, rather plain, but for a band of silvering at the top.

Yes, it's definitely the right way up, because if you up-end it you get Robin Welch's impressed mark upside down at the top.  But apart from that, it looks OK either way!

Is anyone able to date this piece?
