treen art

Post by bistoboy on Tue Jun 02, 2009 10:52 pm

hi all,

bought this at the weekend - just fell in love with the very simple, handcrafted naivety of it. I'm guessing a date of 1950s/60s? doesn't anyone recognise the style, or can even perhaps attribute an artist?

thanks

:sm3: Very nice, but I personally haven't a clue. You say 'this' are they all joined up together?

They're like classy woodentops :ch3:

xx

they're all on separate bases, but i bought them as a group and have assumed that they were designed as such and should be displayed in a "family". they do work well on their own however

No idea either I'm afraid, sorry - but stylistically I'd say they were later than 50s/60s.
