"Modern Art" is produced by incompetents, sold by charlatans and bought by ignoramuses?

It is enlightening to juxtapose "Fine Art" to "Modern Art"

Here is a 'Daisy' range cheese platter in clear glass still in it's box - the cover illustration is by Kim Thrower - I suspect that was his wife?

Got given this today - clear glass with seaform feel to it - shallow and frosted underneath standing on a diamond shaped foot

Has Dartington sticker

Book is on order so anyone know if it's by Thrower and design number, date?

Dartington glass

The seller advertised it as Riihimäen Lasi but I couldn't find similar example anywhere. 23 cm tall and quite well made, moulded piece.

Thank you John.
According to VA Museum website, it was designed by Belinda Hornsey in 1997 and produced between 1999 and 2000.
