An unusual survivor. In the very early days of the St Ives pottery Bernard Leach made Raku pieces, as these were the easiest to make. This drinking is Raku fired stoneware with BL and St Ives marks. Made circa 1920, at the very start of the pottery

An early stoneware cup and saucer circa 1923, Interesting because most of the output was earthenware at this time. 5.25 in diameter. BL and St Ives seals.

An early stoneware dish circa 1920. A cream glaze decorated with trees in shades of  brown green yellow and black. BL & ST Ives seals. 20.6 cms wide.
